It is traditionally accepted by Masons throughout the world that on June 24, 1717, four London Masonic Lodges gathered together to create the Grand Lodge of England. They created a structure for organization that has survived for three centuries and spread around the globe.
Masonic Lodges existed long before this time, but the 1717 date represents the basic creative step in the overall continuity and agreement of principles that still govern the International Fraternity we have today.
St. George Masonic Lodge will honor this momentous occasion at the Meet-Up – Open House event which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21st from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
Please join us for dinner as we perpetuate Masonry’s grand tradition of Brotherhood and fellowship.
